The green topped IAKB0509 battery is the drop in ready 6 volt 4 or 4.5 amp battery provided by Peg Perego. These batteries can be used in all of the toddler sized Peg Perego 6V powered ride on toys such as Thomas the Tank Engine and the Traffic Police car.
The 509 battery is similar in size to a juice box. It will have a green plastic lid that covers up the terminal connections. Depending on when the battery was purchased and which factory Peg Perego contracted with to manufacture the battery it could have a screw holding the lid to the battery or a white plastic strap encircling the battery to hold it on or possibly a green bottom with green side straps. The current version just has the green top being held on with a white strap.
Over the years they have used several factories to make their batteries. This means the battery you are replacing may have a different part number silk screened on the side and will indicate MADE FOR Peg Perego BY Ritar or Leoch or Full River, for example. Generally, if you were to look below this declaration you will find the factories part number and some text indicating it is a 6V 4Ah or 4.5AH sealed lead acid battery. Some of the factory part numbers used over the years include: 6V4.5AH C20, RT640, DM6-4.5, DMU640. Only the retail box packaging and a white sticker affixed to the top of the battery will indicate the IAKB0509 official part number.
These batteries are a sealed AGM maintenance free battery that will never leak acid. They are safe to use indoors and outdoors. The green tamper proof top helps prevent curious children from playing mechanic directly on the battery terminals.

USA: At this time, we do not ship to the United States. Baby products are subject to different safety regulations and compliance standards in the U.S., which may result in customs delays, refused entry, or additional liability concerns. To ensure full compliance and protect our customers, we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy.
INTERNATIONAL: International shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout. To receive a shipping estimate, simply add an item to your cart and enter your country and postal code. If a rate does not appear in the cart, proceed to checkout where the final shipping cost will be calculated.

If a customer refuses to pay customs duties/taxes and the shipment is left at customs, abandoned, or refused by the customer, the order will not be eligible for reimbursement. Due to the extremely high return shipping costs associated with international shipments, which often exceed the value of the product itself, packages in these situations are typically abandoned rather than returned to us. In such cases, no refund will be issued for the order, shipping fees, or any related costs.
