Soft and flexible, the molded footbed and back strap keep the sandals secure. Our 2-year old tester can put them on and take them off by herself. She reports they are great for stomping and twirling, but not for tippy-toes. Love the colour. Haven't yet been able to field-test to see if the lemon scent repels bugs.
