Preparation
Before you begin, note that you will need a flat-head screwdriver and an Allen key (usually provided with the crib or bed rail hardware kit). Do not use power drills or drivers, as they can easily split the solid wood or strip the threads.
- Lay out a soft blanket or assemble the bed on a carpeted floor to protect the wooden finish from scratches.
- Remove the crib mattress.
- Remove the side panels or toddler rails.
- Remove the mattress support platform.
- Keep the headboard and footboard standing upright.
Installing the Bed Rails (Step A: Connect the Rails to the Headboard)
- The #849 Conversion Kit includes:
- Two wooden side rails
- Wooden support slats
- Align the wooden dowels (if applicable) and the metal hanger pins or bolts on one end of the first bed rail with the corresponding receiver holes on the headboard.
- Insert the designated bolts through the headboard post and into the bed rail.
- Insert the barrel nut into the pre-drilled slot on the inside of the bed rail to secure the bolt.
- Hand-tighten the bolt using the included Allen wrench. Do not fully tighten yet; leave enough play for final alignment.
- Repeat these steps for the second bed rail on the opposite side of the headboard.

INTERNATIONAL: International shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout. To receive a shipping estimate, simply add an item to your cart and enter your country and postal code. If a rate does not appear in the cart, proceed to checkout where the final shipping cost will be calculated.

If a customer refuses to pay customs duties/taxes and the shipment is left at customs, abandoned, or refused by the customer, the order will not be eligible for reimbursement. Due to the extremely high return shipping costs associated with international shipments, which often exceed the value of the product itself, packages in these situations are typically abandoned rather than returned to us. In such cases, no refund will be issued for the order, shipping fees, or any related costs.
